Every Gate in Human Design has a partner Gate. When both Gates are activated in your chart, they form a Channel. The Channel is more than the sum of its parts. It defines a specific theme that runs through your design.

Gate 19’s partner is Gate 49 (The Gate of Principles) in the Solar Plexus Center. Together they form the Channel of Synthesis (19-49), sometimes called the Channel of Sensitivity.

When you have both Gate 19 and Gate 49 activated, the sensitivity in Gate 19 has a built-in connection to the emotional principles in Gate 49 at the Solar Plexus.
